Without local support, we couldn’t continue to put on our shows and raise the money that we do for local causes. Our ethos is simple – we strive to bring some great acts to Mylor, you buy the tickets, we all have a great night out, the profits benefit local causes, everyone wins. To date we’ve been able to donate several thousand pounds to such local projects as the community lunch club, the children’s mugs for the village Jubilee celebrations, the Mylor Playing Field fund, the Christmas Lights, the Mylor Bridge School Goblin Green Car project, support for the provision of a local Dementia nurse, the Mylor Pre School for new outdoor play suits, support for the local rowing club juniors and not forgetting works on Tremayne Hall that help make it such a good venue for us all to enjoy.

We regard our supporters as our ‘Mylor Sessions Angels’ and we cannot thank them enough – all the people who do everything to make Mylor Sessions the success that it is: setting the show up and tearing it down at the end of the night (yes, at midnight!), setting up, manning (and womanning) the bar and packing it all away again afterwards, designing the lovely posters and flyers and then printing and distributing them, labouring over the website and keeping it up to date, running the mailing list and answering all the numerous questions that you ask. They are, indeed, angels.
